A Match Made in Heaven

I couldn't think of a better title for a post in which I tell you about my new DYMO LabelWriter 450 Duo, that I was given to try and review as a BzzAgent.

BzzAgent must have known that underneath my crazy, busy mother of two rambunctious ones hides a perfectionist...a list-making, label-er of all, perfectionist!  Upon receiving my new DYMO LabelWriter, I was thrilled to try it!  I mean, what person wouldn't love an easier, more convenient way to make labels, than the traditional {which requires specific document templates & pages of labels in your printer, hoping they are set-up correctly}.  But what I didn't know was just how much easier it could make my life!

The DYMO LabelWriter 450 Duo had a very simple set-up on the computer, and is attached via USB.  Once set-up is complete, you're ready to go!  All you have to do is open up the program, and design away!  There are long lists of text fonts, and easy ways to change the text font to a specific size, or to change to fit the size of the label {depending on the length of the text you type}.  I was given two sizes of labels - address labels & shipping labels.  I am always in need of address labels, and you can print out as many at a time as you like, which is wonderful!  I don't have a lot of items that I usually ship, so I chose to use the shipping labels as household labels to help organizing, and it worked like a charm!

One of my favorite features of the DYMO is that it allows me to print my own postage from the comfort of my desk!  I am always running out of stamps, and can't seem to ever find the time {or desire} to make it to the post office with my two little ones.  Now, I don't have that problem!  I can simply change the label inside the DYMO {which is extremely easy to do}, tell it how much postage is needed, and how many stamps I want printed, and tada, USPS stamps!!  If you received one of our Christmas cards this year, you likely also received on of these stamps to mail it with.  My only hold-back on the postage printing is that you have to purchase the labels, then you have to purchase the postage.  However, with the convenience factor in mind, it isn't a bad price to pay...especially for home-based businesses, like I have.

So, my review of the DYMO LabelWriter 450 Duo??  From this perfectionist, label-loving mom and business owner -- this is a 5 star product -- perfect for personal and business use...easy enough for anyone with a little computer knowledge to use!  This DYMO LabelWriter and myself -- truly a match made in Heaven!

Would you like your own DYMO LabelWriter 450 Duo?  I have 10 coupons {courtesy of BzzAgent} to share with you, giving $50 off your purchase of this DYMO product {good through Feb. 2011}.  Leave a comment telling me your email address and that you want a coupon code, and I'll send you the details.

I received this labelwriter free from BzzAgent as part of their product review program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
