The Voice Bible {Book Review}

I was recently given the opportunity to review a digital version of  The Voice Bible.  I've taken my time on reviewing this book, as it is not like most.  I was hopefully hesitant when I agreed to read this for review...hoping it would be a great way to read the Bible along with my normal translations, as a companion to make some of the passages a little easier to understand...but hesitant knowing that it would possibly be too much altered interpretations for my comfort.

After reading many passages in The Voice Bible, I must say that although it is an "easy read" as far as wording and explanation, I find it very hard to rely on it as a study Bible.  Unless I have my other translations (KJV, NASB, etc) nearby and ready to study alongside of The Voice Bible, I don't use it.  Perhaps some would enjoy it, or even use it frequently, but for me, a little too far from my comfort zone...too many  changes.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from Booksneeze.com as part of their booksneeze book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR, Part 255 : "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements.
