Unstoppable | Book Review

My husband had familiarized me lately with Nick Vujicic's amazing story (mostly via You Tube), so I was excited to see it was an option to review his book through Blogging for Books book review program.  I quickly chose the book, and handed it over to my husband, as I knew he'd love to read it!  After about a week, my husband has finished the book and is ready to share all about it!  Here's Mark's take on it...

I had the opportunity to review Nick Vujicic's latest book, entitled Unstoppable, and cannot even begin to explain what an incredible book this is for any who are willing to take the time to read it.  I found it difficult to put this book down because it is written almost as if it's from a friend or family member that is pouring out their heart to you and trying to help you to see that you matter and you can make a difference.

In the world in which we live, it's easy to get discouraged and want to quit.  We often say self-destructive things to ourselves, such as: "I'm not good enough", "no one cares about me", "I can't make a difference because of ..." or "If only I had a platform to use like ...".  In this book Nick addresses all of those thoughts plus many more by telling you about his life, from childhood to adulthood and the struggles he faced living life without arms or legs.  He shares his faith in Jesus Christ and challenges you to live out the faith that you say you believe, whatever it may be, because the only way to impact the world is to share what you believe with others.

If you're looking for a book that's easy to read and leaves you encouraged and challenged all at the same time, I would highly recommend you pick this book up.  I can guarantee you it will be difficult to put it down.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from Waterbrook Multnomah Publishing Group as a part of their blogging for books review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
