Trim Healthy Mama Plan | Book Review

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has tried diet plans of all kinds {more than I'd like to admit} over the years...especially once I had children!  But, needless to say, I never found one that worked and stuck with me.

Recently, I was given the chance to read and review Trim Healthy Mama Plan by Pearl Barrett and Serene Allison.  I must say, I was quite skeptical about yet another "breakthrough" diet plan...and I can't say that I would have bought it at the store of my own will.  However, hindsight, it wouldn't have been a bad investment.

I was very impressed with how simple and easy to apply this plan not diet truly is.  Ultimately, it's a guide to help you make healthy eating decisions...leading to a lifestyle change, not a diet.  Some things were "common sense" ideas that I've known, but never applied, but they  made it simple by giving easy application steps, menu ideas, and tips/advice to help change your lifestyle into a healthy one that will lead naturally to a healthier, trim life.

This is one of those books that I would like to keep on hand and go back to, review, and apply more than just once.  Because it is a lifestyle change, it isn't something that I can easily "master" in one reading...but more of a guide, a reference, to help with a changed, healthier lifestyle.

I recommend this book to anyone who is looking to eat healthier, look better, and have a changed lifestyle.  It isn't a quick fix diet...but those have never worked for me anyway.  This is one to read and apply little by little (or all at once, if you're up to it).  It's a great, easy way to guide you to a changed healthier lifestyle.
